Secundaria Memories?

Question

I'm visiting my Tio in Cancun next month, and he says he went to Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera. He's always talking about the crazy school dances they had there, apparently, it was legendary! He's super vague about the details though, just laughs and says "You wouldn't believe it". So, my question is: what were the *most* memorable school traditions or events at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera, besides the obvious crazy dances? I really want to know what the big deal was.

Oof, Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera in Cancun, huh? My cousin went there, years ago. He didn't talk much about the dances, surprisingly, but *man*, the annual school fair was something else. They'd build these crazy elaborate booths, like mini-theme parks. One year it was a pirate ship, complete with a "treasure hunt", seriously impressive. And the food... Forget tacos from a street cart, this was gourmet-level school fair food. They also had some seriously intense volleyball tournaments. Like, *intense*. More drama than the dances, honestly. Think rivalries that lasted years. That's what really stuck with him, the competition, and the amazing fair.
