**🍜 Must-Try Local Dishes** Mingguang is known for its hearty, rustic flavors. Start with Mingguang lamb noodles, a breakfast staple where tender lamb is served over hand-pulled noodles in a rich broth. Another favorite is salted duck, a preserved duck that is air-dried and then steamed, often enjoyed with rice. For a quick snack, try fried dough sticks (youtiao) dipped in soy milk, available at many street stalls for around 5 yuan. **🏮 Best Street Food Stalls** The night market on Renmin Road is the go-to spot for street food. Look for stall number 12, which sells grilled squid and lamb skewers for 10 to 15 yuan each. Another gem is Auntie Li's stall near the Mingguang Bus Station, famous for her savory pancakes (jianbing) at 6 yuan. Most stalls open around 5 PM and stay busy until midnight. **🍽️ Top Restaurants for Dinner** For a sit-down meal, try the Old Mingguang Restaurant at 88 Zhongshan Street. Their signature dish is braised pork belly with chestnuts, priced at 48 yuan. Another reliable choice is Harmony Kitchen on Guangming Road, which serves a generous hot pot for two at 120 yuan. Both places fill up after 6 PM, so arrive early or call ahead. **🥟 Breakfast Spots Locals Love** Start your day at the Chen Family Breakfast Shop on Xinhua Lane, where a bowl of congee with pickles costs 4 yuan. Their steamed buns with pork filling are 2 yuan each and sell out by 9 AM. Another option is the corner stall at the intersection of Jiefang Road and Wenhua Street, known for its soy milk and fried dough sticks for 3 yuan. **🍢 Late-Night Snacks and BBQ** After 10 PM, head to the BBQ row on Tuanjie Road, where you can find cumin-spiced lamb skewers for 3 yuan each. The stalls also offer grilled eggplant and enoki mushrooms wrapped in bacon. For a sit-down late-night meal, try Night Owl Noodles at 22 Tuanjie Road, open until 2 AM, with bowls starting at 12 yuan. **🍵 Local Drinks and Desserts** Mingguang has a sweet tooth for rice wine and osmanthus cakes. Visit the Sweet Corner shop on Renmin Road for a bowl of fermented rice wine with glutinous rice balls at 8 yuan. Their osmanthus cake, a light floral dessert, is 5 yuan per piece. For tea lovers, the teahouse at Mingguang Park serves local green tea for 15 yuan per pot. **💰 Budget and Price Guide** Street food in Mingguang is very affordable, with most snacks costing between 3 and 15 yuan. A filling meal at a casual restaurant will set you back 20 to 40 yuan, while a nicer dinner for two ranges from 80 to 150 yuan. Keep small bills handy, as many stalls do not accept digital payments. **🚌 Getting Around for Food** Most food spots are concentrated in the city center, within walking distance of Renmin Road and Zhongshan Street. Taxis start at 6 yuan and are easy to hail, but buses 1, 3, and 5 all pass through the main food districts. If you are visiting the night market, take bus 5 and get off at the Renmin Road stop.
