Nightlife in Mingguang, what should I check out?

Are there specific streets or night markets where locals actually hang out after dark, and what's worth trying once I'm there? 🌃

Mingguang isn't really a big nightlife town tbh. Most of teh action is around the area near Mingguang Middle School and along Guangming Road where the street bbq stalls set up around 8pm. Locals mostly just eat, drink beer, and hang out at karaoke spots, not clubs.

For actual evening food, check out the small night market near the bus station. Try the guan dong zhu (skewers in broth) and the grilled squid. Prices are cheap, like 2-5 yuan per skewer.

If you want something more chill, there are a few tea houses that stay open late. Don't expect much English though, so have a translation app handy.

honestly the evenings there are pretty quiet, people just walk the riverside park area and grab snacks. if you drink, look for the small baijiu bars tucked in the side streets off Tuanjie Road, they're cheap and low key. not much of a scene but thats kinda the vibe
