**🏔️ Visit Qianshan National Park** Qianshan National Park is the crown jewel of Anshan, known for its dramatic granite peaks and ancient Buddhist temples. Take the cable car to the summit for panoramic views, then hike down through pine forests and past the towering Maitreya Buddha statue. The park opens daily at 7:00 AM, and entry costs around 80 RMB. **🏛️ Explore the Anshan Museum** The Anshan Museum offers a deep dive into the city's industrial heritage and natural history, with exhibits on iron and steel production and local paleontology. Located at 77 Shengli South Road, it is free to enter and open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, closed on Mondays. Don't miss the impressive collection of fossils from the Cretaceous period. **🏯 Walk Through Yuwang Temple** Yuwang Temple, dedicated to the legendary Emperor Yu, is a serene complex of halls and gardens in the city center. The temple dates back to the Ming dynasty and features intricate wood carvings and a peaceful lotus pond. Admission is 30 RMB, and it is best visited in the morning to avoid crowds. **🛍️ Shop at Anshan's Jade Market** Anshan is famous for its xiuyan jade, and the Jade Market on Gongnong Street is the place to find it. You can browse hundreds of stalls selling carved figurines, jewelry, and raw stones, with prices ranging from 50 to thousands of RMB. Bargaining is expected, so start at half the asking price. **🍜 Taste Local Noodles at Laobian Dumpling** For an authentic Anshan meal, head to Laobian Dumpling Restaurant at 123 Tiedong Street, known for its hand-pulled noodles and juicy dumplings. A bowl of beef noodle soup costs about 20 RMB, and the dumplings are stuffed with pork and chives. Arrive before noon to avoid the lunch rush. **🚌 Getting Around Anshan** Anshan's public bus system covers most attractions, with fares starting at 1 RMB, but taxis are affordable and convenient for longer trips. Ride-hailing apps like Didi are widely used, and a trip from the train station to Qianshan costs around 30 RMB. For a unique experience, try the city's vintage trolleybus line along Renmin Road. **🌃 Best Evening Spots** As night falls, head to the 219 Park area, where locals gather for evening strolls and street food stalls. The park's lake is illuminated with colorful lights, and nearby vendors sell grilled skewers and sweet potato desserts. For a quieter evening, visit the Anshan Steel Company's cultural square, which often hosts free concerts.
