**🏖️ Beach Days and Beyond** My Khe Beach stretches for miles and is clean, with umbrella and chair rentals costing around 100,000 VND per day. The best time to swim is early morning before 8 AM or late afternoon after 4 PM to avoid the strong sun. For a quieter vibe, head north to Nguyen Tat Thanh Beach where locals gather for sunrise exercise. Surfers should check the waves from September to March, with board rentals available near the My Khe area for about 200,000 VND per hour. **⛰️ Marble Mountains Exploration** The Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) are a cluster of five limestone hills about 9 km south of the city center. Entry costs 40,000 VND and an elevator to the top is an additional 15,000 VND. Wear sturdy shoes because there are many stairs and slippery spots. The Huyen Khong Cave inside is a highlight, with a natural skylight and ancient carvings. Go early to avoid tour groups, ideally before 9 AM. **🐉 Dragon Bridge Fire Show** The Dragon Bridge (Cau Rong) breathes fire and water every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM. Arrive by 8:30 PM to secure a good spot on the east bank near the Love Lock Bridge. The show lasts about 15 minutes and draws big crowds, so consider watching from a nearby cafe with a view. After the show, walk along the Han River promenade to see the city lights reflecting on the water. **🍜 Street Food and Markets** Con Market (216 Hung Vuong) is the best spot for local dishes like mi quang and banh xeo, with most plates costing 20,000 to 50,000 VND. For fresh seafood, head to the Han Market area in the evening, where stalls grill scallops and prawns on the spot. Don't miss the chance to try a bowl of bun cha ca, a Da Nang specialty of fish cake noodle soup, at Ba Be restaurant on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street. The market opens around 6 AM and closes by 8 PM. **🏯 Cultural and Historical Sites** The Museum of Cham Sculpture (2 Thang 9 Street) houses the world's largest collection of Cham artifacts, with entry at 60,000 VND and open from 7 AM to 5 PM. For a glimpse of colonial history, visit the Da Nang Cathedral (156 Tran Phu Street), known for its pink facade and French Gothic design. The Ho Chi Minh Museum (Duy Tan Street) offers free entry and provides context on Vietnam's modern history. All three sites are within a short taxi ride of each other. **🌿 Day Trips to Remember** The Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge are a popular day trip, about 45 minutes by car from the city. Tickets cost 900,000 VND for adults and include the cable car and most attractions. For a more natural escape, visit the Son Tra Peninsula, where you can spot rare red-shanked douc langurs and enjoy panoramic views of the bay. Another option is a boat trip to the Cham Islands, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, with snorkeling and fresh seafood lunch included for around 500,000 VND. **🚲 Getting Around the City** Grab and Be are the most convenient ways to get around, with short trips within the city center costing 20,000 to 50,000 VND. Renting a motorbike costs about 100,000 to 150,000 VND per day, but you'll need a valid driver's license and a helmet. For a scenic route, take the local bus number 1 from the city center to Hoi An for 30,000 VND, which runs every 20 minutes from 5:30 AM to 6 PM. Taxis are also plentiful, but always insist on using the meter. **🌃 Evening Entertainment and Views** For a great night view, head to the Sky36 bar on the 36th floor of the Novotel, where cocktails start at 250,000 VND and the city lights stretch out below. The Han River cruises offer a different perspective, with dinner cruises departing from the Bach Dang pier around 7 PM for about 300,000 VND. If you prefer something low-key, the weekend night market on Tran Hung Dao Street is perfect for browsing souvenirs and snacking on grilled skewers. The market runs from 6 PM to 11 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
