Another local favorite is the spicy and sour fish soup, often made with fresh river fish and pickled vegetables. Don't miss the chance to try 'si wa wa' (thin rice noodles) served with a savory sauce and peanuts. These dishes are staples in the local diet and can be found at many street stalls and family-run restaurants. **🏮 Top Restaurants** For a classic beef noodle experience, head to 'Qingzhen Old Street Beef Noodle' at 123 Zhonghua Road, open from 7 AM to 9 PM, where a bowl costs around 15-20 yuan. 'Huaxi Fish Soup Restaurant' at 45 Binhu Road offers a hearty fish soup for about 40 yuan per person, open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. 'Miao Family Rice Noodles' at 88 Minzu Street is a local institution, serving bowls for 10-15 yuan from 6 AM to 2 PM. **🌃 Street Food Stalls** The night market on Renmin Road comes alive after 6 PM, with stalls selling grilled skewers, fried rice, and stinky tofu for just a few yuan each. For a quick bite, try the fried potato cakes at the corner of Jiefang Street, open from 4 PM to midnight, priced at 3 yuan each. **🍲 Neighborhood Eats** The old town area around Xinhua Road is packed with small eateries serving traditional dishes like braised pork and rice. In the Nanming District, the food street near the Confucius Temple offers a mix of local and regional snacks, with most items under 20 yuan.
