this is a fantastic list, really covers the bases. for day 1, if you have time after the nelson-atkins, walk a block south to the kauffman memorial garden. it's this tiny hidden gem with a huge fountain and great views of the plaza, way less crowded than the sculpture park
for the jazz museum day, i'd actually recommend the mutual musicians foundation building on 18th street instead of or in addition to the american jazz museum. it's a working musicians union hall with a tiny museum upstairs and you can sometimes catch impromptu jam sessions in the basement bar on weekends. feels more authentic
one thing missing is breakfast. you gotta try the french toast at the pantry in the river market on a saturday morning. it's cash only and there's always a line but it's worth it. closes at 2pm so plan for that

for day 3, arthur bryant's is a must but go before noon. the line gets wild around 12:30 and they run out of some sides by early afternoon. their fries are the best in the city imo, get the extra crispy ones

also, green lady lounge is great but it gets packed fast on friday and saturday nights. if you want a quieter jazz spot, check out the blue room in the 18th & vine district. same vibe, smaller crowd, and you can usually grab a seat at the bar without waiting.
