This guide nails the big names, and I appreciate the brewery shoutout. One spot I think deserves more love is the catfish po' boy at Larder Delicatessen in Hingetown, the breading is light and the pickled peppers cut through the richness perfectly. It is around $15 and their pastrami is also top tier if you want something heartier.

On the sweet side, if you are at Mitchell's, try the buckeye flavor, it is a local twist on peanut butter and chocolate that you will not find anywhere else. Their seasonal flavors are usually worth the gamble too, the pumpkin one in fall is legit.

Nice write-up, you covered the big spots well. I would add that if you are doing the West Side Market, hit Steve's Gyros for a lamb and beef gyro that puts the Falafel Cafe sandwich to shame in my opinion. The line moves fast, just have cash ready.

For a different evening spot, check out Cordelia in the Gordon Square Arts District. It is not a steakhouse but their whole roasted fish and the pork chop are outstanding, and the cocktails are some of the best in the city. You will spend around $60 a person but it is worth every penny for the creativity alone.

Solid list. If you are hitting the West Side Market, go early on a Saturday morning before the crowds hit, around 7 or 8. The place is a zoo by 11. I grab a coffee from Phoenix Coffee across the street and then wander the aisles before the lunch rush.

One thing missing here is the po' boy from Bonbin in Gordon Square. It is a Vietnamese-Cajun mashup with fried oysters and a spicy remoulade on a crusty roll, around $12. Not what you expect in Cleveland but it works perfectly. Their pho is solid too if you want something warm on a cold day.

yo this is a solid guide, i've lived here for years and you nailed most of it. one thing i'd add is that if you're doing the west side market day 1, grab a lángos from the hungarian stall inside - it's like fried dough with sour cream and cheese, super cheap and filling. also for day 3, skip the nautica queen if you're on a budget and just walk the towpath trail further south past the flats, you'll get better river views without paying $30. the 81 bus is fine but between ohio city and tremont it's faster to just walk or bike, they're only a mile apart across the bridge

i've done this exact trip a few times with out of town friends and it works. one thing i'd swap is day 3 morning - instead of a christmas story house again just walk the tremont neighborhood deeper, there's a hidden mural alley behind the st. theodosius cathedral that's way more interesting. also for dinner in the flats, the harp is fine but nate's deli on w 9th has a better reuben and cheaper beers, like $8 for a sandwich and a pbr. the citypass is worth it if you're doing rock hall and the botanical garden but skip it if you're only hitting the museum since that's free already

honestly this is a really good breakdown for visitors. one thing i'd tweak is day 2 at the art museum - don't just rush through the main galleries, the Armor Court in the back is actually incredible and most tourists miss it. also if you're in little italy for lunch, skip the fancy sit-down places and hit Presti's Bakery for a pepperoni roll and cannoli, it's like $8 total and way more authentic than the touristy spots on mayfield. the red line tip is spot on though, that train saves so much time between downtown and university circle
