Grilled Bananas? Like in terminal 21

Which street vendors or grab vendors do grilled bananas?! Love them Which street vendors or grab vendors do grilled bananas?! Love them

The ones at Talad Rot Fai Srinakarin are worth the trip out east. There's a small stall near the vintage furniture section that does them with a really good coconut cream and sesame seed topping, about 30 baht. They also have a version stuffed with taro paste if you want something more filling. The market only really gets going after 6pm though, so don't show up too early.

since u mentioned terminal 21, the sukhumvit soi 3/1 morning market has a lady who sets up around 10am and does grilled bananas with a sticky rice topping, not the usual coconut cream. she's near the noodle soup stall on the left as u walk in from the main road, about 20 baht per skewer. way less sweet than the tourist versions if that's ur thing

if you're near the old town, check out the vendors along khao san road around 8pm. there's a guy near the 7-eleven at the phra athit end who does them with a bit of salt and sugar, really good. or if you're out in thon buri, the market by wongwian yai station has a couple stalls, cheaper than in tourist spots

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
