What are some of the ways to save here on Bangkok?

Are there any apps with coupons and staff life that that you can save little bit here and there on a daily basis? I heard about eatigo Are there any apps with coupons and staff life that that you can save little bit here and there on a daily basis? I heard about eatigo

another angle is the grab taxi feature, not the grabcar. you can book a regular taxi through the app and it shows the estimated fare upfront, saves haggling and the driver cant scam you on the meter. for street food, look for places with a line of locals around 11am or 5pm, that's usually the freshest batch and cheapest. the true money wallet app has random cashback promos if you use it at 7-11 or tops, sometimes 10-20 baht back per purchase

honestly the true you app by true move has some hidden gems, they partner with random street stalls near bts stations for like 10-20 baht off pad thai or som tam if u pay through the app. also check the shopee app's food section, they do flash deals on milk tea or coffee sometimes at 50% off if you grab it before noon. for laundry, the washdrop app gives you points for every load that turn into free washes after like 10-15 uses, which saves a few hundred a month if you're doing it weekly

honestly for daily savings i'd get the makro app, they do bulk pricing on stuff like rice and oil that's way cheaper than 7-11 per unit. also check out the gowabi app for haircuts and massages, they have flash deals like 50% off at random salons near on nut or ekkamai, just need to book same day.

for transport, the mrt and bts have stored value cards that save you fumbling for coins, but the real hack is the via bus app for route planning, busses are like 8-15 baht vs 40+ for the skytrain. if you're near a pier, the khlong boats on saen saep are 10-20 baht and faster than traffic sometimes.

one thing nobody mentions is the line man app for food, they have a "line man wallet" that gives you 1-2 baht cashback per order, plus random coupons if u add their line account. not huge but i've saved like 200 baht over a month just from that.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
