Irn bru in Bangkok, where to buy?
fyi there's a place called jasons supermarket at central embassy that sometimes has it, it's in their little british section near the cheese. more expensive than villa tho, like 150 baht a can last time i saw it. also check the austin shop on soi 16 suk, they import random scottish stuff but it's hit or miss
i've seen it at villa market on sukhumvit soi 33, they have a small scottish section with random stuff like tunnock's and irn bru. also check foodland on patpong 2, they sometimes stock it near the import sodas. it's like 80-100 baht a can which is steep but worth it if you're desperate for a taste of home
the villa market tip is solid but honestly the best spot for irn bru that no one mentions is tops market at centralworld. they've got a whole british import aisle near the bakery section, usually has irn bru, ribena, the works. costs about 90 baht a can but sometimes they do 2 for 150 on the big cans if ur lucky. also worth checking the little corner shop on soi 11 near the asylum bar, random but they stock it for some reason
best som tam in Bangkok? Krua Dok Mai Kao 2026
yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
