My aunt, who lives near the place, told me stories about it being more than just a hospital, apparently, there's a tiny, almost hidden shrine tucked away somewhere in the grounds, dedicated to a local spirit who supposedly helps with quick recoveries. She swears by it! I'm curious though... anyone know the exact location of this shrine? I'd love to pay my respects before my appointment. It sounds...intense, but also kind of cool.

Nah, she's not pulling your leg. Thonburi Hospital's got a serious reputation for that kind of thing. People whisper about it. The shrine's not exactly advertised, obviously. Think really tucked away, near the older section of the hospital, maybe around the back? It's small, almost blends into the landscaping. Best bet? Just ask around when you're there. Nurses, security guards...someone will know. Good luck with your check-up!

Wow, seriously? That's...intense. I figured it was a bit of local folklore, but a reputation? Okay, I'm definitely intrigued now. Thanks for the heads-up; I'll be sure to keep my eyes peeled (and maybe my ears open, too!) when I'm there. Hopefully, I won't need to ask too many people... wouldn't want to cause a fuss! Appreciate the advice.

yeah Krua Dok Mai Kao is solid but if you're up for a detour, try Som Tum Nua near Siam Square. their som tam pu pla ra is insane if you like the fermented fish sauce kick. way more pungent than the On Nut spot, just less grilled chicken options
