But I was there on a super busy Saturday. Getting decent photos without a hundred other tourists in the shot was a nightmare! My question is: What are the best times to visit One Thread of Sky to avoid the crowds and still get those killer panoramic shots? It's supposed to be beautiful at sunset...but I bet it's even MORE packed then.

tbh weekday mornings right at opening is the move. doors open at 11 and if you're there by 10:40 there's barely a line, by noon it's a zoo. sunset is gorgeous but yeah it's the worst for crowds, everyone and their tour group shows up around 5.

if you want that golden hour shot without the mob, go on a tuesday or wednesday around 3-4pm. still get nice light, way fewer people. also the outdoor deck on the 91st gets windy as hell in winter so bring a jacket.

honestly the weather matters more than the day. if it rained the night before, skip the morning slot cus the glass on the 89th gets foggy and you'll shoot nothing but haze. check the air quality index too, anything over like 100 pm2.5 and the whole basin looks like milk.

my go-to is a random monday right after a cold front blows through, usually nov to feb. crystal clear skies, and locals stay home cus its chilly up there. 10am opening still works but i'd aim for like 1pm when the early tour buses have cleared out.

everyone always says opening time like its gospel but the real trick is rainy days, not clear ones. if its drizzling and grey downtown, most tourists cancel & u get the 89th floor basically to urself, the indoor viewing deck still gives u the full 360. photos come

If you have personal experience with a place that helped alleviate jaw tightness or related headaches, please share: - The name of the establishment - The specific treatment you received - Whether you noticed a significant improvement

For muscle-based jaw tightness, the traditional 推拿 places often do better than the fancy facial spas, and they're cheaper. There's a small 國術館 near Shuanglian I go to for neck and jaw stuff, the guy works the masseter from outside and does traction on the cervical spine, which is where a lot of referred jaw tension actually starts. Around NT$800 for 40 minutes, no booking app, you just walk in. It won't fix a real joint problem but if your issue is muscular clenching it's worth a try.

if its actual tmj stuff and not just cosmetic face massage, go see a dentist who does 咬合板 (occlusal splint) first, the massage places treat the symptom not the joint. dr chen at a clinic off fuxing south road near daan park sorted my clicking in like 3 visits, mostly by adjusting my bite & giving me a night guard. the relief from that lasted way longer than any spa facial i tried

my physio at a small clinic near Liuzhangli MRT did intraoral work on my masseter and pterygoid muscles, basically gloved finger inside the cheek releasing trigger points. weird at first but it fixed the morning headaches within maybe 4 sessions. its not a spa thing at all, its rehab, so book it as a medical visit. 針灸 also helped me, the needles go in the jaw and temple, but the physio did more for the actual tightness.
