Anyone been to a show there recently? What's the best way to get a good seat without spending a fortune? I'm worried about getting stuck behind a giant inflatable panda. Seriously.

west side block 4 is where i usually land, not because of sound but because the sun sets behind you so u're not staring into lights all night. the rows are steep enough that a tall person in front barely matters, which is rare for this place. also the ticket prices there are weirdly flat, like row 2 and row 12 cost the same, so just pick the back row and save urself the stair climb.

for food, skip both gates and hit the xiaolongbao cart on the corner of jilin rd and nong'an st, it's a ten minute walk but the line is short and u can eat while the opener warms up. the panda thing is overblown tbh, it only really eats the view from the center floor, any stand above row 8 sees over it fine. just avoid the front of the lower east stands, that's where the lighting rig hangs low and it blocks more than the panda ever will.

no need to overthink the panda thing honestly. the real trap is the lower east stands, that lighting rig hangs low and blocks the stage edge if ur anywhere past row 5. for cheap seats that actually work, look at the top tier sections numbered 20 to 24, they face the stage almost straight on and the roof keeps the sound tight. ticket prices there are often the same as the mid-tier sides but the view is way more complete, plus the stairs are shorter from the jilin rd entrance so u dont lose ur breath running up. grab a drink at the family mart across nong'an st before u queue, they charge less than the stalls inside and the lines move faster.

honestly skip the main ticket site and check the resale boards a day before, people dump seats cheap when plans fall through. i got row 5 on the side for half price once, just filter for the numbered blocks that face the stage straight on. also the north gate entrance has shorter bag check lines than the south, but the south side has that 7-11 with the hot drinks if ur coming early. and yeah the panda is mostly a floor issue, if ur in the stands above row 10 u can see over it fine

If you have personal experience with a place that helped alleviate jaw tightness or related headaches, please share: - The name of the establishment - The specific treatment you received - Whether you noticed a significant improvement

For muscle-based jaw tightness, the traditional 推拿 places often do better than the fancy facial spas, and they're cheaper. There's a small 國術館 near Shuanglian I go to for neck and jaw stuff, the guy works the masseter from outside and does traction on the cervical spine, which is where a lot of referred jaw tension actually starts. Around NT$800 for 40 minutes, no booking app, you just walk in. It won't fix a real joint problem but if your issue is muscular clenching it's worth a try.

if its actual tmj stuff and not just cosmetic face massage, go see a dentist who does 咬合板 (occlusal splint) first, the massage places treat the symptom not the joint. dr chen at a clinic off fuxing south road near daan park sorted my clicking in like 3 visits, mostly by adjusting my bite & giving me a night guard. the relief from that lasted way longer than any spa facial i tried

my physio at a small clinic near Liuzhangli MRT did intraoral work on my masseter and pterygoid muscles, basically gloved finger inside the cheek releasing trigger points. weird at first but it fixed the morning headaches within maybe 4 sessions. its not a spa thing at all, its rehab, so book it as a medical visit. 針灸 also helped me, the needles go in the jaw and temple, but the physio did more for the actual tightness.
