Learn a few basic Korean phrases. "Annyeonghaseyo" (hello), "Gamsahamnida" (thank you), and "Geonghanghamnida" (expensive!) go a long way. Pointing and using gestures helps too. Don't be afraid to walk away from a stall if the price seems outrageous – there are plenty of other vendors. Also, try to go with a friend if possible; two heads are better than one when deciphering prices and haggling. It's all part of the experience; embrace the chaos!
