Pianos in SKKU?

Hi so very random question: I am going to a student exchange at SKKU Suwon. Are there public pianos there or in the other campus? Hi so very random question: I am going to a student exchange at SKKU Suwon. Are there public pianos there or in the other campus?

theres a digital piano in the basement of the student center at suwon campus, near the convenience store. not the best quality but its free and usually empty during weekdays. also the music club rooms on the 3rd floor of the engineering building sometimes leave their door unlocked if you wanna sneak in for a real acoustic one

honestly i think the music department ones are your best bet but they're kinda strict about who uses them. the global campus library has a small keyboard on the first floor near the lounge area, it's not a real piano but it's there if you really need to play something. i'd just ask around the student council office when u get there, they usually know which rooms are actually open vs locked all the time

yeah there's a couple actually. the suwon campus has a piano in the student union building lobby, near the convenience store. i've seen people play it between classes. the seoul campus has more options since it's bigger, the humanities building has one on the first floor near the auditorium. you might need to bring your own headphones if there's a digital one though

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 15 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
