one thing the guide missed is sundae (korean blood sausage) at the gwangjang market stall near the main entrance. it's like 3,000 won and they serve it with salt and peppers, really underrated street food. also for the bamdokkaebi night market try to go on a friday when there's more food trucks, saturdays get packed with families and the lines get ridiculous
good call on gwangjang, that's where everyone should start. if you go early, like 9:30am right when it opens, you can watch the ajummas setting up and they're usually more chill about letting you try a sample before buying. the bindaetteok at suni's is worth the wait but honestly i prefer the one two stalls down, it's crispier and they use more bean sprouts
one spot i never see in these guides is the kalguksu alley in namdaemun market, it's tucked behind the main shopping street and all three stalls there have been around since the 70s. pick the one with the longest line of older locals, that's how you know it's good. also if you're at myeongdong kyoja and the line is out the door, walk two minutes to myeongdong kyoja 2 on the side street, same menu same quality but half the wait

Nami Island in autumn is worth the weekend crowds just for the maple tunnel near the central lawn, but go early to catch the 7:30 AM ITX from Yongsan and you'll have the place mostly to yourself until 10 AM.
i've done all of these and honestly gapyeong gets slept on compared to nami island. the garden of morning calm is way less crowded and you can actually take your time walking through the themed sections without dodging selfie sticks. the evening lighting festival in winter is prob the best thing there, they string up thousands of lights through the gardens and it feels like walking through a fairy tale. if you go in december the gapyeong bus runs later to accommodate it, just check the schedule at the tourist info center near the station
solid list, i'd add that incheon is worth a proper day if you haven't been. the open port area near jemulpo has these old japanese buildings turned into cafes and galleries, plus the chinatown there has legit jjajangmyeon for like 5,000 won. take airport railroad from seoul station to incheon station, it's about 90 minutes and costs under 5,000 won. the songdo central park area is nice too but feels more like a planned city than the gritty old port vibe.
