one thing nobody mentioned is the wind direction changes fast near the river but you can kinda predict it by watching the flags on the banpo bridge, if theyre pointing south the gusts come from the seobinggo side and you gotta aim left of goal to compensate. also if you lose a ball dont bother chasing it downstream, just walk up to the icc building security and ask if they grabbed it, those guys find like 5 balls a day and keep em in a bucket by the front desk

If you're playing alone or with just a couple people, head toward the patch near Yongsan Family Park's edge where the embankment blocks some of the gusts. For the ball situation, grab a cheap mesh laundry bag from Daiso and tie it to your backpack strap, keeps the spare from rolling away while you chase the main one.

the n37 bus tip is gold, i've used it more times than i can count. one thing i'd add for the hongdae crowd is that if you're into the indie scene, skip club ff and go to strange fruit instead, it's a tiny basement venue off the main drag that books local punk and shoegaze bands for like 5k won cover. the sound system is janky but the energy is way more authentic than the tourist-heavy spots. also for gangnam, the line at octagon can hit 30 minutes on weekends so get there before 11pm or just go to arena which is less crowded imo
