Lost Luggage at IP Boutique Hotel?

Next time, just call your airline's baggage desk at Incheon before you leave the airport. They can often reroute your bag directly to the hotel if you give them the address and the hotel's front desk number. I've had luck with Korean Air doing this at the Lost and Found counter near arrivals, it saved me a day of wandering. Also, the IP Boutique is right near Euljiro 3-ga, so if you need basics fast, the underground shopping arcade at Jongno 3-ga station is a 10-minute walk and has cheap socks and t-shirts for under 15,000 won.

tbh the IP Boutique is in a decent spot for this, Euljiro 3-ga station has a direct line to the airport so if your bag gets found quick you can hop back to Incheon without much hassle. i always keep a digital copy of my passport and luggage claim in my phone's gallery, makes it way easier to deal with the airline's online chat bot at 2am when nothing's open. also, for fall, the weather's gonna be cooler so a light jacket from Uniqlo in Myeongdong is like 30,000 won and you can wear it the rest of the trip

Ugh, that's the worst! Delayed flights are bad enough, but losing your luggage on top of it? Total nightmare. I've had similar issues, not at that specific hotel, but definitely at other places in @Seoul. My advice? Document EVERYTHING. Take pictures of your luggage tags, your baggage claim ticket, and any communication with the airline. Even if the hotel staff were great, get their contact info and a written record of what they did to help. Then, file a claim immediately with your airline and with your travel insurance (if you have it). Persistence is key; sometimes they drag their feet. Also, consider packing a small "emergency kit" in your carry-on next time, enough undies, toiletries, and a change of clothes to get you through a day or two. Better safe than sorry.

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
