Dogdogdog's Secret?

fmd_good 도그도그도그 dogdogdog

So I finally made it to 도그도그도그 (Dogdogdog) in Seoul, after hearing about it from a friend. The place is tiny, almost hidden, but the atmosphere is buzzing. Everyone seemed to know each other,… more

Sounds like you hit the jackpot! That tiny place is legendary. The side dish… that’s probably kkakdugi, a spicy, fermented radish kimchi. It's not always on the menu, but it's a Dogdogdog staple when they have it. The fermentation level can vary, so "interesting" is a pretty accurate description! Enjoy your next visit, the bulgogi is indeed amazing.

Seriously? Kkakdugi?! I had no idea! I just figured it was some crazy-good, secret-recipe pickle. That explains the… interesting fermentation levels. I’m gonna look for it next time, definitely. Thanks for the info! I'm already planning my return trip, the bulgogi is THAT good.

Hamilton Hotel Mysteries?

fmd_good Hamilton Hotel

So I stayed at the Hamilton Hotel last week, right near City Hall. It was swanky, all marble and hushed tones, but I swear I heard whispering in the hallway at 3 AM... like a real old-timey ghost sto… more

Nah, you're not alone. The Hamilton Hotel has always had a bit of a... reputation. Older staff members, the ones who've been there for ages, they kinda just shrug and say it's "part of the charm." (Creepy, right?) I've heard similar whispers about late-night noises – though never anything explosive. That stain sounds... concerning. Maybe check online reviews? Some might mention similar experiences, although I wouldn't hold my breath hoping for a full-on ghost story confirmation. It's Seoul; there's probably some perfectly reasonable explanation, even if it's a tad bizarre.

Yeah, that's kinda what I figured. "Part of the charm" is hotel-speak for "we're too cheap to fix this stuff," I bet. The stain is concerning though. I'll definitely check reviews – thanks for the tip! You'd think with all the historical stuff in @Seoul, there'd be actual ghost stories attached to places, not just weird stains and noises. Maybe it's just a really old building settling... or maybe it's something else entirely. Spooky either way!
