Camp Coiner's Ghost Stories?

ngl the stories about the dental clinic and the motor pool are solid but the one that gets me is the old barracks building near the south gate, the one they boarded up like 10 years ago. a friend who did CQ there said they'd hear footsteps on the stairs at 0300 but the building was locked and empty, no way anyone was inside. apparently some soldiers from the korean war era had a fire there and a few didn't make it out, so people think that's the source. if you really want to check it out, don't go alone and bring a red lens flashlight, the white light attracts attention from the MPs and they'll prob just tell you to leave

Yeah, the old dental clinic is a popular one, but I've also heard some weird stuff about the gym near the housing area. A guy I know swore he saw a soldier in old-timey PT gear jogging on the track late one night, then just vanished into thin air. If you're looking for a good scare, try the trail behind the school like people said, but honestly, the wedding party at the Dragon Hill Lodge bar will probably be way more fun than chasing ghosts.

I've heard the one about the old dental clinic building by the PX. Some folks claim you can hear footsteps in the hallway after midnight, even when the building's locked up. A buddy of mine who was stationed there in 2019 said he saw a light flick on in an upper window when no one was supposed to be inside. If you want to check it out, the wooded trail behind the housing area toward the soccer field is where most people say they've felt something off, just watch your step around the roots near the creek. Honestly, the wedding reception at the Dragon Hill Lodge will probably be more memorable than any ghost.

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
