The IP Boutique is in a tricky spot for deliveries, honestly. If your bag does get found, tell them to use the hotel's official address in Korean on the label, but add "near Anguk Station Exit 4" in English, the couriers mix up the palace-adjacent streets all the time. While you wait, walk to the Daiso in the Jongno 3-ga underground shopping center, it's open till 10 and has surprisingly decent travel-sized toiletries and socks for like 2,000 won each. Your airline should have a local office at the Incheon Airport arrivals hall, and in my experience the Korean staff there are way more on the ball than the call center people.

If you haven't already, check with the front desk if they have a direct line to the Incheon Airport lost and found. Most of the nicer hotels in Jongno have a concierge who can call the airport's baggage service office for you, which is way faster than calling the airline's general number. Also, make sure you have the hotel's address written down in Korean to give to the airport if they find your bag, the delivery drivers often get lost in the smaller streets around Anguk station.

ngl the ip boutique concierge team is usually solid if you catch the right person, try asking for the head concierge specifically by name (park or kim are common there) not just the front desk. they can sometimes get the airport to expedite stuff if you mention you're a guest at a high-end hotel in jongno. also, check if your airline uses the seoul city lost luggage tracking app, it's actually in english and updates way faster than the websites

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
