Completely vanished. Checked with the hotel, filed a report, but haven't heard anything yet. Anyone else ever had this happen there? Did you get your stuff back? I'm freaking out a little because it had some pretty irreplaceable stuff inside. Seriously hoping this isn't a recurring problem. The hotel itself was fantastic otherwise...except for the, you know, missing suitcase.

Ugh, that totally sucks. Losing luggage is the WORST. I've never had that happen at the IP Boutique Hotel specifically, but I have had luggage issues in Seoul before, a delayed bag once, nothing ever completely lost though. Did you check with your airline? Sometimes things get misrouted there, even if you're only flying domestically. Also, file a report with the airport authorities; they might have more resources for tracking down lost items. Keep on top of the hotel, too, sometimes it takes a few days for them to get back to you. Fingers crossed you get everything back!

Yeah, it's a nightmare. I did check with the airline, Asiana, and they said it never even made it onto the flight from Busan. Completely vanished. Filed a report with Incheon airport, too, but they weren't exactly brimming with optimism. The hotel staff were... polite, but not exactly helpful. Said they'd look around, but haven't heard anything yet. It's mostly clothes, thankfully, but I'm missing some important meds, which is stressing me out. Thanks for the advice, though, I'll keep pushing them. This whole thing is just a massive inconvenience.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
