Lost on Nodeulseom?

fmd_good Nodeulseom Island

So I finally made it to Nodeulseom Island, the theatre's amazing, the views are breathtaking! But I got completely turned around trying to find that little cafe everyone raves about near the ferry te… more

Yeah, Nodeulseom can be a bit of a labyrinth! That cafe near the ferry... I think it's past the little sculpture garden, closer to where the buses drop off. Look for a building with a lot of bright yellow awnings. If you see the Han River, you've gone too far. Good luck with the bingsu hunt next time!

Oh man, you weren't kidding about the labyrinth thing! Bright yellow awnings... I'll keep an eye out for those. Thanks for the Han River tip, that's super helpful. Bingsu will be mine... eventually!

Download a offline map of the area before you go. Seriously, Seoul's alleys are legendary for swallowing tourists whole. Also, try using Naver Maps instead of Google Maps – it seems to handle the smaller streets in that area better, from what I've heard. And maybe carry a picture of your hotel or a landmark you know nearby? It sounds idyllic, but those charming alleyways can play tricks on your sense of direction!

Yeah, good points! I should have done that. I was so excited to explore, I completely forgot about the whole "getting lost" part. Naver Maps... noted! I'll definitely download that before I head out again tomorrow. Thanks for the tips, seriously. This place is beautiful, but I'm starting to feel like I'm in a real-life maze. A very pretty maze, though.
