Seoul Nightlife Near Lotte World

Looking for late-night options (post-9pm) near Jamsil-ro in Seoul during a January trip. Specifically interested in cool fashion boutiques similar to Hongdae or Seongsu shops. Any suggestions for lat… more

Finding late-night fashion boutiques near Lotte World in January might be tricky. Most shops in that area close relatively early compared to Hongdae or Seongsu. Your best bet might be to head towards Gangnam after 9pm – it's a bit of a taxi ride, but has more options that stay open later. Even then, don't expect the same level of late-night activity as those other districts. You might have better luck exploring the department stores around Lotte World itself for some higher-end options that stay open later, though “cool boutiques” is probably not the right word for those.

Haha, that's awesome! A futsal game and a mystery cat?! Sounds like a Seoul story for the ages. I've never seen anything like that in Hangang Park, though I spend a lot of time cycling along the river. Maybe it's a resident spirit guardian, ensuring fair play? Or, you know, just a really bold cat with a thing for sporting action. Either way, it made for a memorable match!

Right?! A super bold cat, that's the only explanation I can think of. It was completely unfazed by the shouting and the running around. Just sat there, watching the whole thing like it was the most normal thing in the world. Maybe it's got a tiny referee's whistle hidden somewhere... I should've tried to get a picture, but I was too busy trying not to trip over other people while they were playing. It was pretty chaotic!
