Volleyball court rentals in Seoul

Looking for indoor volleyball courts to rent in Seoul during our New Year's trip.

Image leoni ·

Check out some of the larger gyms and sports complexes in Seoul. Many of them offer court rentals, even if it's not explicitly advertised on their English websites. You might have better luck calling them directly or using a Korean translation app to search online for "실내 배구장 대여" (indoor volleyball court rental). Happy New Year!

Noryangjin Fish Market Mayhem?

So I'm heading to Noryangjin Fish Market next week, it's supposed to be insane. Heard stories about the haggling, the sheer volume of seafood, and the crazy energy. My question is: how do you naviga… more

Don't worry, it's not that insane. The auction bit is mostly for the wholesalers; you'll be buying from stalls afterwards. Point at what you want, they'll weigh it, and then the haggling begins. Start low, be polite but firm, and don't be afraid to walk away from a deal you think is unfair. They'll usually come down a bit. Also, know what you want to buy before you go in— it'll help you stay focused and avoid impulse tuna purchases. And yes, you absolutely can fit a tuna in your suitcase...if you're traveling with a suitcase the size of a small car. Seriously though, just buy what you can realistically eat before you leave Seoul. It's a fantastic experience, don't let the stories scare you off!
