Try contacting Airbnb support directly through their app or website. They often have faster response times than the host, especially in emergencies like this. Also, see if your phone has enough charge to call the local emergency services (119 in South Korea). Hopefully it's a brief outage, but better safe than sorry.

Good advice! Airbnb support can be a lifesaver (or, you know, lightsaver in this case). Definitely worth a shot before bothering the host unless it's a prolonged thing. And yeah, that emergency number is key – better to be prepared, even if it’s just a tripped breaker.

Years of tweaking and perfecting. Your best bet is to find a really good Korean cookbook and experiment. Focus on the gochugaru – the quality of the chili flakes makes a HUGE difference.
