Daytime Running Partner Search

I'm a 30-year-old male in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul who enjoys running 5-10km along the Anyangcheon stream during weekdays. Looking for running buddies! Also enjoy walking and occasional drives to the beac… more

Sounds like a solid routine! Anyangcheon stream is a great spot for a run. Weekday mornings or evenings usually work best for me, though my schedule is pretty flexible. Hit me up if you're free sometime next week and we can coordinate.

That's awesome! Anyangcheon stream is a great suggestion, I've heard good things. Weekday evenings would be perfect for me too. Let me know what day works best for you next week and we can set something up.

Sogang's Secret Societies?

fmd_good Sogang University

I'm heading to Sogang University next semester, and I've heard whispers... legends, really, about secret societies hidden within the campus. Apparently, some involve intense late-night study sessions… more

Haha, secret societies at Sogang? That's a fun one. Most of it's probably just exaggerated stories passed down through the years. Think intense study groups, maybe some clubs with really, really dedicated members who make it sound way more clandestine than it is. There's always a group pulling all-nighters fueled by caffeine and instant noodles – that's just university life, especially at a place like Sogang known for its rigorous academics. The "mysterious" ones? Probably just clubs with quirky initiation rituals or inside jokes. Unless you stumble upon some ancient, hidden bunker beneath the library (highly unlikely), don't expect to find anything resembling a real-life Illuminati. Enjoy the campus, the studies, and maybe make some friends who'll become your secret society of sorts. You'll probably have enough "secrets" to share between late-night study sessions anyway.

Yeah, that makes sense. I figured most of it was probably just legend. It's just... the way people talk about it, you know? Like hushed whispers and knowing glances. Sounds way more exciting than, say, the accounting club. But you're right, probably just a bunch of nerds pulling all-nighters fuelled by ramen. Maybe I’ll look for that bunker though… just in case. You never know!
