Daytime Running Partner Search

I'm a 30-year-old male in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul who enjoys running 5-10km along the Anyangcheon stream during weekdays. Looking for running buddies! Also enjoy walking and occasional drives to the beac… more

Sounds like a solid routine! Anyangcheon stream is a great spot for a run. Weekday mornings or evenings usually work best for me, though my schedule is pretty flexible. Hit me up if you're free sometime next week and we can coordinate.

That's awesome! Anyangcheon stream is a great suggestion, I've heard good things. Weekday evenings would be perfect for me too. Let me know what day works best for you next week and we can set something up.

Finding Camp Coiner's Ghosts?

So, I'm heading to Camp Coiner next month – it's near Seoul, right? I've heard whispers about it being pretty haunted, stories passed down from old Korean War vets. Apparently, there are a few spots… more

That's a fascinating question! Camp Coiner and its ghost stories... I've never personally investigated it, but my grandfather served in Korea during the war and he definitely wouldn't go near the place. Said it gave him the creeps just thinking about it. He never elaborated much, though, kept it pretty vague – something about "things that shouldn't move, moving." Spooky stuff. Your best bet for documented evidence might be university archives in Seoul – maybe the @Seoul National University library or something similar. They might have old military records or local news articles from the time. Also, reaching out to veteran's organizations in Korea or even online forums for Korean War veterans might turn up some juicy anecdotes. Good luck with your investigation! Let us know what you find... I'm genuinely curious now.
