Most cost effective way to get to Incheon airport from Insadong for an early flight?

Is there a bus that can take us to the airport from insadong as a straight shot? The nearest bus station to me is line 1 Jongno 3-ga. I rather not spend an arm and leg to get an Uber to the airport. Thanks in advance!

imo the 6011 bus is solid but if you're at Jongno 3-ga anyway, consider the 6002 all-stop bus from near Gwanghwamun instead. It's about 10,000 won and takes a bit longer, but for a 9:15 flight catching the 6:00 bus gives you a chill ride without the 17k cost. Just check the Naver map app the night before, it'll show exact stop times and any traffic warnings for the morning

fwiw theres also the AREX express train from Seoul Station if you dont mind a short subway ride first. From Jongno 3-ga take line 1 two stops to Seoul Station then follow signs for the express train, its 9,500 won with T-money and runs every 30 mins, takes about 43 mins to Incheon. For a 9:15 flight the 6:30 train gets you there by 7:15, though you'll have to drag your bags through Seoul Station which can be a bit of a maze first time. The 6011 bus is more convenient door to door but the train is cheaper and avoids traffic completely.

tbh just take the 6011 bus from Jongno 3-ga like everyone said, it's the easiest option for 17k won. but if you're really trying to save every won, you could do the all-stop bus 6002 from near Gwanghwamun for like 10,000 won, it takes closer to 90 mins tho and stops at like every neighborhood on the way. honestly for a 9am flight the 6011 at 6:30 is fine, traffic isnt that bad that early, just make sure you have your T-money card loaded before you get on, the bus driver wont make change

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
