How can i pick up a sofa ?

I thought of the taxi option too but im not sure it will fit in a taxi , is there another way to bring it or pick it up ?

imo the easiest option is calling a 콜밴 (call van) through a delivery app like 쿠팡이츠 or 배달의민족, they have a "용달/이사" section now. you just put in the pickup and drop-off addresses, select a small truck or van, and pay through the app. it's usually around 25,000-40,000 won for a sofa within Seoul, no need to haggle or coordinate with a random driver. just check the size limits before booking, most vans handle a standard 2-3 seater fine

tbh just rent a truck through 쏘카 (socar) or 그린카 (greencar) if u have a license. their van option is like 15,000-20,000 won per hour and u can use it for a couple hours to pick up the sofa. way cheaper than 용달 if you're comfortable driving yourself. just make sure to bring blankets or rope to strap it down in the back

honestly just use 용달이사 (yongdal-isa), it's a small moving truck service and way cheaper than a full moving company. you can find them on karrot or naver, just search "용달" and tell them the size of your sofa. expect around 30,000-50,000 won depending on distance, way less hassle than trying to cram it into a taxi or bus

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
