I am currently staying in Gangnam-Gu for a month and looking to get a high quality personal tailored suit!

What I'm looking for A high quality suit that will be tailored to my skinny/slim body type.

Budget
No budget! I want high quality that can be seen, can be felt and will last me eons! But please do give me a range of price when giving me recommendations.

Occasion No occasion, just want a high quality suit that I can wear to events. I have no current suit attire and would like a suit attire that actually will be fitted to my skinny/slim body appearance. I've had bad experiences with suits growing up where even the smallest size would still be to big on me and my arms would be less than a half of the sleeve. Also I am getting into watches and want a high quality attire to dress formal and swell.

Timeline
I have until August 24th to get this suit!

Myself 5'8 110 lbs * Male

honestly for a guy ur size you might do better going to a proper Korean tailor who builds from scratch instead of adjusting off the rack. check out the menswear shops in the garosu-gil area, there's a place called tailored seoul that does really clean slim cuts. they're used to skinny korean guys so the proportions will actually fit u without the boxy shoulder thing. a full custom suit there runs about 2 to 3 million won for high end wool, maybe more if u want a heavier fabric. they can do the whole thing in 10 days easy since theyre local, so u got time for two fittings.

also dont sleep on the fabric choice, go for something like a 120s or 130s wool with a bit of stretch, it drapes better on a lean frame and wont wrinkle as much when u sit down. for the watch thing, ask for a shorter jacket length too, not just the sleeves, it balances out a smaller torso. and if u want a second opinion after the first fitting, walk over to the itaewon custom shops and compare, u have the time.

For your frame, look for a Neapolitan-style maker rather than a Korean house that copies Italian cuts. The shoulders are softer and the chest is cut closer, which suits a slim build without looking like you borrowed a jacket. Go to Itaewon and check out B&Tailor, they do fully canvassed work and are used to foreign clients with unusual measurements. A solid wool suit from them will run you about 1.5 to 2.5 million won, and they can do a fitting in two weeks, so you have time for a second one if needed. For watches, ask them to shorten the jacket sleeve so a quarter inch of your cuff shows, that detail matters more than the suit itself.

yeah the other recs are solid but since ur in gangnam proper try the custom shop inside the hyundai department store in samseong, its quieter than the itaewon spots and the staff speak english fine. they did a suit for my buddy who's basically ur exact build, 5'9 and super lean, and it came out sharp without looking like he was swimming in fabric. price was around 2.8 million for a decent 120s wool, full canvas, took about 12 days with two fittings.

one thing nobody mentioned, bring a photo of a

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
