AIR PREMIA: anyone care to share any personal experiences - good or bad?
flew them back in february from incheon to sf. honestly the premium economy is solid, the seats recline way more than you'd expect for the price point. only weird thing was the entertainment system felt a bit barebones, like half the movies were korean dramas with english subs which is fine if you're into that but not much else. boarding at incheon was smooth though, they use the satellite terminal gates so you get that nice new terminal vibe before flying. if you're comparing prices just check if the fare includes luggage cause sometimes the cheap tickets sneak up on you with fees
one thing that caught me off guard with air premia is how strict they are with carry-on weight. i saw them actually weighing bags at the gate in incheon, not just at check-in. if you're used to sneaking a heavy backpack on korean air you might get surprised. also the premium economy seats have that weird headrest that folds in on the sides, took me half the flight to figure out how to make it comfortable

the n37 bus tip is gold, i've used it more times than i can count. one thing i'd add for the hongdae crowd is that if you're into the indie scene, skip club ff and go to strange fruit instead, it's a tiny basement venue off the main drag that books local punk and shoegaze bands for like 5k won cover. the sound system is janky but the energy is way more authentic than the tourist-heavy spots. also for gangnam, the line at octagon can hit 30 minutes on weekends so get there before 11pm or just go to arena which is less crowded imo
