I mean by selecting high-quality and relevant profile creation websites. so, need your opinion regarding it

tbh the whole profile creation thing is mostly a waste of time for anyone targeting seoul. naver just flat out ignores most of those links and google has gotten way smarter about spotting the pattern. i've seen sites with 50+ profile backlinks rank worse than a single well written brunch article

if you're really set on doing this for some reason, at least pick platforms that actual koreans use like dcinside or theqoo. a profile link from a dead english directory is useless here, but having your url on a popular korean forum thread that people actually click? thats a different story. still not worth hours of manual work though, just make better content

honestly profile creation sites are a mixed bag for seo in seoul. the real issue is most of them are just spammy directories that google ignores or penalizes now. i've seen people waste time on sites like hotfrog or yelp korea when they could just focus on getting listed in naver maps or kakao map which actually drives local traffic here.

if you're going to do profile links, stick to the ones that have real human traffic and moderation. think linkedin, medium, maybe a niche korean forum like dcinside if relevant. the whole "link diversity" argument is overblown imo - one solid backlink from a real site beats 50 profile links that nobody clicks. focus on content and actual user engagement, not just building a wall of links that look like a seo experiment from 2015

profile creation sites are basically a relic from when google cared about that stuff. in seoul's market, what actually matters is getting into the local search ecosystem - naver blog posts, kakao channels, or even a solid cafe24 shop listing will do way more for your visibility than a dozen profile links on generic directories

the real play here is building trust signals that work for korean search engines. naver doesn't care about your link profile the same way google does, it cares about content freshness and user signals from actual koreans. if you're spending hours on profile creation, you're better off writing a quick guide about your industry in korean and posting it on brunch or tistory

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
