your english is fine don't worry. university festivals in seoul are mostly open to anyone, no student id needed. the tricky part is finding out which schools newjeans will actually visit, the artist lineup usually drops on the university's official instagram or festival account like 3-5 days before, not on newjeans pages. if you're near hongdae or sinchon area, check yonsei and ewha instagrams directly, those are the campuses where bigger acts tend to show up. costs nothing to watch but the food booths will get you, fried chicken is around 10,000 won and a cup of soju is like 3,000 won, bring cash since card machines sometimes fail in the crowd

Most university festivals in Seoul are open to the public, not just students, so you can absolutely go. The catch is that NewJeans will only be at a few specific schools, and those shows are usually on the main outdoor stage where anyone can stand and watch for free. You don't need a ticket or student ID, just show up early because the crowd gets packed, especially around Hongdae area schools like Hongik University or Ewha Womans University.

The bigger issue is figuring out which universities they're actually performing at. Check the official NewJeans social media or fan cafes, since the schedules get announced last minute and change without much warning. You might also want to swing by the school's festival booth on campus to ask for the lineup, but be ready for everything being in Korean. It won't cost you anything to watch, but bring cash for food and drinks from the booths.

yeah you can definitely get in, most uni festivals here are open to anyone who shows up. the stages are usually in the main square or field, no ticket needed, just walk in. but u gotta check the schedule asap because newjeans only does like 1 or 2 uni stops per comeback and the dates get announced on their fan cafe or instagram maybe a week before. also the crowd gets wild so if you want a decent view, plan to get there 2-3 hours early, bring water and a portable fan. no cost to watch but the food booths around will drain your wallet quick, like 5,000-8,000 won for tteokbokki or fried chicken

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
