So I wouldn't be in need of a further health assessment or an analysis/interpretation of the results. I don't have a family care doctor in Seoul. Does anyone happen to know whether there is a lab/hospital/clinic that offers such services? Thanks a lot in advance!

You can walk into any big university hospital's health screening center without a referral. I've done this at both Severance and Samsung Medical Center, and they let you pick individual tests from a menu. Just tell them you want "purely diagnostic blood work" and they'll give you a price list. Expect to pay around 150,000 to 300,000 won depending on how many markers you pick. The results come in a few days and you get a PDF, no doctor consultation required.

another option is to hit up a private lab directly, like green cross or seegene medical foundation. they have walk-in centers in gangnam and yeouido, no referral needed. you just fill out a form with which tests u want, pay upfront, and get results online in like 2 days. pricing is usually cheaper than hospitals, maybe 100k for a basic metabolic panel plus cbc. just make sure to ask for the "self-referral" option so they dont try to push a doctor consult on you

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
