Reputable forwarding service?

So I'm trying to obtain an accessory that is (apparently exclusive to Korea?), is there a reputable proxy service I can use like Buyee for Japan to get my item shipped to America? imo if gmarket global doesnt have it you might need to look at bunjang or joonggonara, those are the big secondhand marketplaces here and sometimes korean exclusives end up there. i used a service called koreanbuddy once for a bunjang item, they charged like 10% fee plus shipping and it was fine, just a bit slow on the communication side. one thing nobody mentioned is that naver pay is the standard here so some sellers might not take foreign cards, a proxy can handle that for u

if it's a smaller brand that only lists on naver or coupang, try payco global. they're not as well known but they handle the payment side when your foreign card gets declined, then forward it to you. i had to use them for a limited edition keychain that was only on coupang and it worked out fine, just took about 2 weeks total. the fee was around 8% which is standard for these services

honestly if gmarket doesnt have it try korgou or avisualgo, i've used both and theyre pretty straightforward. avisualgo is nice cause they let u preview photos of your item before shipping, saved me from a damaged box once. just keep in mind korean domestic shipping is usually 2,500-3,000 won so dont freak out when the forwarder charges u that, it's normal. customs is gonna be the real variable depending on what u declare

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!
arrow_drop_up 14 arrow_drop_down

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
