During that period I would love to be able to meet other dancers for Bachata, Salsa and Kizomba. So, could you please advise in regards to where are the parties held?

honestly the scene here is pretty active but scattered. if you're near gangnam those dates, check out la vida in sinsa on a wednesday, they do a mixed night with bachata and salsa starting late like 10pm, entry is around 10,000 won. kizomba's harder to find tbh, but there's a monthly at dance studio b in hongdae that sometimes lands on weekends, check their naver page or instagram for may dates. for a more casual vibe, the salsa room in itaewon has open floor fridays and saturdays, covers all three but bachata dominates, cover is like 12,000 won with a drink.

for bachata & salsa, check out salsa cafe in hongdae on weeknights, they have a decent social scene starting around 9pm. kizomba is less common but there's a group called seoul kizomba project that often does pop-up events at dance studios in gangnam, check their instagram closer to ur dates. if ur in gangnam the 19th-21st, there's a regular friday party at el dorado in apgujeong, covers all three styles but bachata is the main focus. entry is usually around 15,000 won with one drink included

Oh damn, another one. The search bar on this site works, you know. But fine, here's the deal for your dates. You'll want to hit up 'Salsa & Son' in Hongdae on a Tuesday or Thursday, they run a solid bachata and salsa night

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
