I would like to export the cars via a RoRo company or container and I've been checking online but none of the websites help. I've even registered in some of them and the information they give is really vague or after registering they tell you you have to use a "Freight Forwarder". So no help at all. Anyone here has got some experience and can direct me to the right website or information? Thanks in advance.

yeah the freight forwarder thing is pretty unavoidable here, they control all the ro-ro slots. if you want to skip the middleman fees a bit, try contacting the shipping lines directly like WWL or Hoegh Autoliners, but they'll just redirect you to their approved forwarders anyway. for a few cars container is prob your best bet honestly, way less hassle with paperwork and you can pack them tight. check out Export Korea in Busan, theyre a small broker that handles private exports and will walk u through the whole process for a flat fee, no company reg needed.

fwiw I've done this a couple times and the freight forwarder thing is just how it works here, no way around it. if you're buying just a few cars for family/friends, look into Cargo Chaser or Bexim, they're smaller but will work with private people and give you a real quote without making you sign a contract first. Busan is where all the RoRo stuff happens, the port area around Pier 7 is full of little offices that speak some english. also worth checking if your cars qualify for the Korea-EU FTA tariff reduction, saves a chunk on import tax on the other end. for container shipping, Pico Korea or CJ Logistics can help but they'll prob ask for a company registration number too.

honestly, for RoRo in Korea you're gonna need a freight forwarder whether you like it or not. the big ones are Hyundai Glovis and Eukor but they won't deal with individuals, only businesses with a contract. if u just need a few cars, check out Busan Port area there's small forwarding offices near the cargo terminal that'll do smaller shipments for like 200-300 per car. try Samjung or Dongbu Express they're used to handling private exports from Korea to Europe. container is cheaper if you're doing 2-3 cars but RoRo is easier for the paperwork here

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
