Hello everyone,

I'm a Moroccan citizen with a French residence card (titre de séjour) My itinerary is as follows:

Paris ->Seoul ( 1 week stay) -> Osaka(1 week) -> back to Paris

My Keta got denied (idk why) but i already booked hotels in Seoul for a week, can i still stay in Seoul by benefitting from the transit legislation since technically my final destination will be Japan ? I heard that you just ask for a yellow sheet that you sign with immigration and it allows you 30 day stay in korea as long as you're headed to a third country after korea.

Thanks in advance !

tbh the yellow slip thing works but you need to be at terminal 1 or 2's transit desk before you hit the main immigration lines. there's a separate counter near gate A for this, not the regular foreigner line. i'd also print your france residence card and japan flight confirmation, some officers ask to see both even if it's digital. the 30 day stamp is standard but they sometimes ask where you're staying in japan too so have that handy

Yeah, the transit exemption is real for Morocco passport holders with a valid residence permit from an OECD country, and France qualifies. You just land at Incheon, go to the transit desk before immigration, and ask for the "K-ETA exemption" form. They give you a yellow slip, fill it in, and they'll stamp you in for up to 30 days as long as you have your onward flight to Japan.

But be careful at the counter -- some immigration officers at Incheon are stricter than others, especially if your K-ETA was denied. Bring a printed copy of your hotel booking in Seoul and your flight to Osaka, just in case they ask why you're staying a full week. I've seen people turned around because they couldn't clearly prove they were leaving for a third country, so have your Japan itinerary ready on your phone or paper.

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
