honestly if you want gender separated and authentic, try jjimjilbang in the neighborhoods away from tourist spots. i like Seorae Village Sauna in Seocho-gu, it's smaller and mostly locals so quieter. they got a nice cold bath and the dry sauna rooms feel less factory-like than Dragon Hill. entrance is like 10,000 won and nobody bothers you. just bring your own towel or pay a tiny extra for a rental.
if you want gender seperated, Dragon Hill Spa in Yongsan is prob the most famous one for tourists. it's big, open 24hrs, and has a decent outdoor foot spa. just heads up, it can get crowded on weekends so go early if you can.
another solid option is Spa Land in COEX mall but that's mixed gender in the main areas, only the bathhouses are seperated. so if strict seperation is a must, stick with Dragon Hill.
there's also Siloam Sauna near Seoul Station. less flashy than Dragon Hill but cleaner imo and cheaper. around 12,000 won for just the sauna. they have a good 황토방 (red clay room) that's pretty unique.
dragon hill is the easy answer but honestly i'd skip it, it's a tourist trap and the facilities are kinda dated. try siloam near seoul station, it's quieter and the 찜질방 has these cool 황토 rooms that actually feel traditional

yeah the guide covers it well but one thing i'd mention is that if you're traveling with a group of 3 or 4, a regular taxi from the airport to central seoul can actually be cheaper per person than the express train and way more convenient. split 60k won four ways and it's only 15k each, plus no hauling luggage through the station. just make sure they use the meter or you'll get ripped off
