KTX from Seoul to Busan- do I need to print my ticket if i used the Korail app?

I used the Korail app to buy my KTX ticket - do I need to print it out or can i just show the screen on my app when boarding? Thank you I used the Korail app to buy my KTX ticket - do I need to print it out or can i just show the screen on my app when boarding? Thank you

If your phone dies halfway, you're stuck explaining yourself to the attendant. I'd screenshot the QR code as a backup, the app can be slow to load in the underground sections near Gwangmyeong Station. Also, the turnstiles at Suseo Station sometimes reject phone screens entirely, so keep that in mind if you ever depart from there.

fwiw the korail app works fine at seoul station but sometimes the scanners at busan station are positioned weirdly low, like at shin-gimhae too. i always have to bend down a bit to get it to read my phone. also if you're taking the 6am KTX the automated gates might be off and you'll need an attendant to let you through anyway, happened to me twice this year

screenshot is smart but tbh the korail app has a widget for android that puts the qr right on your home screen, saves u digging through the app. if ur on iphone just add it to wallet, works at the turnstiles same as a physical card

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
