Anybody have a couple extra tickets and can attend any of the Dodgers MLB Seoul Series games with my fiance and I??

Us two are celebrating in Seoul and would love to go to the game but looks like we would have to be guests of somebody with tickets already in Coupang.

We cannot buy through Coupang since we aren't Korean citizens with a Korean number.

We can of course purchase them (we will buy you food and beer as well) and would love to go to Dodgers vs Kiwoom, Dodgers vs. Korea, Dodgers vs Padres on the 20th

thanks!!

One angle worth checking: the Dodgers themselves sometimes hold a small international fan allocation through their own ticket office, separate from Coupang. It's not widely advertised and usually sells out fast, but if you email the Dodgers' fan services or check their Korean-language social accounts, they occasionally point people to a legit channel. Also worth knowing that Gocheok is in Guro-gu, about 40 minutes from central Seoul on line 1 to Guil station, so factor that in if you find tickets last minute. If the resale hunt stalls, the team bars around Itaewon will have the games on and the crowd is genuinely good.

for dodgers vs korea on the 18th there's actually a workaround ppl forget: ticket resale happens on ticketbay (티켓베이) and the sellers there mostly just want a korean bank transfer, but some accept paypal if u message them. prices get stupid close to game day tho, like 2x face. the real trick is the global seats bloc that mlb releases through the dodgers' own site, it opened like a week before the japan series last year so keep refreshing dodgers.com/seoul around early march. also gocheok is a dome so no rainouts, but the sightlines behind the outfield poles are rough, aim for infield if u can

the dodgers vs kiwoom game on the 17th is the one ppl sleep on, its a exhibition so scalpers dump seats cheap the day of. ngl ur citizenship thing is the real wall tho, coupang verifies with 통신사 real-name so even a friend's account wont work unless theyre physically with u at the gate for the transfer. try the 당근마켓 app, sellers there sometimes do ticket handoffs in person near gocheok, meet at the station exit 1 and pay cash, just dont send money ahead

The place was PACKED, like seriously wall-to-wall people. I managed to snag a spot at the bar and ordered their legendary spicy soy garlic wings, holy moly, they were incredible. The crunch, the flavor...it was a flavor explosion. But here's the thing: I saw the owner, this super chill dude, whispering to a staff member about some "special sauce." I'm dying to know... what's the secret ingredient in that insane sauce?!

the whispering thing is real but its not about the sauce lol. that guy runs a 2am handoff with the chicken supplier, they drop off fresh birds from a farm near Chuncheon three times a week instead of using the frozen stuff most hongdae spots rely on. thats why the texture hits different, not the sauce itself. if u go back ask for the neck & wing combo off menu, its cheaper & honestly the best cut they do

arrow_drop_up 24 arrow_drop_down

the thing nobody mentions is that Dogdogdog's sauce gets its body from cheong, the Korean rice syrup, not sugar. thats why it coats the wing so thick and stays glossy instead of going sticky. i asked a guy who worked there and he said they also add a splash of maesil (plum) extract at the end off the heat. that fruity tang under the garlic is what you're tasting. go on a weekday before 6, weekends the wait hits 40 min easy.

honestly the "secret sauce" thing is prob just marketing. every fried chicken place in Seoul has a version of that story. the real difference at Dogdogdog is they double fry in rice bran oil and toss the wings in the sauce twice, once right out of the fryer and again after a 30 sec rest. thats where the crunch comes from, not some mystery ingredient. if u wanna taste the actual base, order the banban half plain half spicy and dip the plain one in the spicy sauce yourself.
