πŸ—ΊοΈ Day 1 Morning: City Core
Start your day at 8:00 AM with a visit to the 17th-century Miagao Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site about 40 minutes south of Iloilo City by jeepney or van (fare around 50 pesos). From there, head to the nearby town of Tigbauan to see its historic church and seafood markets. By noon, return to the city for lunch at Tatoy's Manokan in Villa Arevalo, famous for native lechon manok and fresh oysters.

πŸ›οΈ Day 1 Afternoon: Museums
After lunch, explore the Iloilo Museum of Contemporary Art (ILOMOCA) in the Iloilo Business Park, open Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM (admission 100 pesos). Then walk to the nearby Museo Iloilo on Bonifacio Drive, which showcases local artifacts and history (open daily 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, admission 50 pesos). End the afternoon with a stroll along the Iloilo River Esplanade, a 1.5-kilometer promenade perfect for sunset views.

🍽️ Day 1 Evening: Dinner
For dinner, head to the vibrant neighborhood of Smallville in Mandurriao, where you'll find a cluster of restaurants and bars. Try Breakthrough Restaurant for fresh seafood, or go for local comfort food at Punot Oyster House and Restaurant. After dinner, enjoy live music at one of the many pubs along the Smallville strip, which comes alive after 8:00 PM.

β›ͺ Day 2 Morning: Heritage
Begin Day 2 with a heritage walk in Iloilo City's old downtown. Start at the Molo Church, known as the feminist church for its all-female saints, then walk to the nearby Molo Mansion and Plaza. Continue to the Calle Real heritage zone to admire preserved colonial-era buildings. Grab a mid-morning snack at the famous Roberto's Siopao along Valeria Street, open from 7:00 AM.

🚀 Day 2 Afternoon: Guimaras
After an early lunch, take a 15-minute pump boat from the Ortiz Wharf to Jordan, Guimaras (fare around 30 pesos, boats leave every 15 minutes). Upon arrival, hire a tricycle to tour the island's mango plantations and visit the Trappist Monastery and the Guimaras Wind Farm. Return to Iloilo City by 5:00 PM to avoid the evening rush.

πŸŒƒ Day 2 Evening: River Walk
Spend the evening at the Iloilo River Esplanade, which stretches from Diversion Road to the Iloilo Business Park. Rent a bike or simply walk along the illuminated path, then dine at one of the riverside restaurants like Salt Gastro Pub or The Mango Tree. For dessert, try the local favorite, mango float, at any of the cafes in the area.

πŸ–οΈ Day 3 Morning: Beaches
On your final day, head north to the beaches of Iloilo. Take a van from the Tagbak Terminal to Ajuy (about 1.5 hours, fare around 100 pesos) and visit the Ajuy Beach and the nearby Sicogon Island. Alternatively, stay closer to the city and relax at the beaches of Villa Arevalo or the nearby Guimaras island. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy by the shore.

πŸ›οΈ Day 3 Afternoon: Markets
Return to the city by early afternoon and explore the Iloilo Central Market on Rizal Street, where you can buy local delicacies like barquillos and biscocho. Then head to the nearby SM City Iloilo for some air-conditioned shopping and a late lunch at their food court. Before heading to the airport, grab a box of original biscocho from Panaderia de Molo as a souvenir.

CamiΓ±a Balay nga Bato for the heritage fix.

The Jaro area gets skipped in most itineraries and it's worth half a day. The belfry at Jaro Cathedral is climbable and the plaza around it has decent cafes. Also the Sunday market at the Jaro big market is where I'd spend a morning over any mall.

Good detail on ILOMOCA and Museo Iloilo. Worth adding Netong's for batchoy at the public market, and the La Paz market version is a different beast from the restaurant one. Book Guimaras boats before noon, afternoon seas get choppy.

πŸ›οΈ Markets and Shopping
Explore the Iloilo Central Market for local produce and souvenirs, open daily from 5 AM to 8 PM. For a more modern shopping experience, visit SM City Iloilo or the newly opened Iloilo Business Park, which also hosts weekend night markets. The Lapaz Market is another must-visit for its array of local delicacies and handicrafts.

πŸŒ… Sunset and River Cruises
Take a relaxing Iloilo River cruise at sunset, departing from the Iloilo River Esplanade around 5 PM. the saturday heritage walk from plaza libertad is worth waking up for, volunteer guides actually know the building histories. bring water, the route has little shade by 9am. nice work putting all this in one place

Good roundup. One thing the guide skips is the Jaro district, particularly the belfry and the old houses along E. Lopez Street. Also worth knowing: the airport sits in Cabatuan, so allow extra buffer beyond the listed 30 minutes during rush hour.

Tatoy's gets packed Sunday lunch, go weekday.
