weekday evenings is key, weekends it's all families & uni groups so u stick out alone. try the seaview side spots around 6-7pm instead, quieter crowd. jat tea house is def more group hangout tbh

Agree on that spot, though I'd push the timing later, more like 8pm once the office crowd clears out. Also worth knowing most people there aren't actually open to being approached cold, so it works better if you're already chatting via an app first.

I haven't been myself, but people keep mentioning their butter dabeli and the cheese version, so maybe try both if you make it there.
