Really solid list, the Manghopir Shrine is one I don't see mentioned often and it's a gem. One thing the guide doesn't cover is the crocodile pond at the shrine itself, there are dozens of them just lying around in the water and on the rocks. It's a bit surreal seeing them that close, especially since the locals consider them sacred and feed them.
For anyone heading to Hawke's Bay, I'd suggest stopping at the French Beach turnoff instead if you want even fewer people. It's a narrow unpaved road past the main Hawke's Bay entrance, and the beach there is basically empty on weekdays. Just take your own water because there are no vendors around that stretch.
The Chaukundi Tombs are really impressive if you're into history, but go early in the morning before it gets hot. I went once around 9 AM and had the whole place almost to myself, which made it feel more special. Also, there's a small chai stall near the entrance that does a good karak chai, perfect for after walking around.
I've done the Hub Dam trip a few times and it's worth noting that the birdwatching is genuinely good if you go early. For Sandspit, I'd actually recommend going on a Friday afternoon if you want the full experience. The small eateries there do a mean fried pomfret with roti, and the crowd is lively but not overwhelming like Clifton. The mangrove boat rides are negotiable on price, you can get one for 500 to 800 PKR if you haggle a bit.
Is Jat Tea House in Karachi worth a visit in 2026?
I only know it from visits, but the bun maska is what I'd go back for, more than the chai honestly. Weekday mornings around 8 are calm and the parathas are still hot. Parking on the side street is a nightmare though.

Their seating upstairs fills faster than the downstairs room, so aim for the earlier side of the afternoon. Ask for the chai without extra sugar and you'll taste why people bother.
