went on a trip last year, lines peak after 7pm so hit it around 4, and honestly the dabeli itself is decent but not detour worthy.

honestly the dabeli is fine but its the garlic chutney that makes it. grab extra on the side. if you're near Bahadurabad anyway its an easy stop, just don't cross town for it.

fresh makes a real difference, the packed sachets taste kind of flat after a day. ask them to spoon it from the main batch. also fwiw the dabeli travels badly, eat it there dont box it.

The spoon-from-the-main-batch trick is the real move, the sachets sit around too long. Ask for it on the side rather than drizzled on top, otherwise the bun goes soggy before you finish.
