So, I'm going to a concert at Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo in a few weeks, it's a pretty big deal, apparently, the whole city is buzzing about it. I've heard the sound system is legendary, but… So, I'm going to a concert at Estadio Olímpico Andrés Quintana Roo in a few weeks, it's a pretty big deal, apparently, the whole city is buzzing about it. I've heard the sound system is legendary, but also that the seating can be a bit...unpredictable. Anyone been to a show there recently? Any tips on getting a decent view, especially if you're not right up front? I'm kinda short, so that's a factor. Seriously, I'm dreading being stuck behind some giant.

oriente side is where i always end up, got a decent view of the stage from row 4 there last time even with tall ppl around. the real trick is the tunnel entrances on the av. chichen itza side, they open earlier than the main gates so u can get in and claim a spot before the crush. also bring a small cushion if ur sitting on the concrete bleachers, sounds dumb but ur back will thank u by hour 3

The raised seats on the sides (Oriente and Poniente) give you a better sightline than the floor if you're short, since the floor is flat and everyone stands the whole time. Get there early and grab the front row of whatever section you're in so nobody's head is blocking you.

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
