Estadio's Sound System?

I've heard the atmosphere is electric, but I'm curious, how good is the sound system actually? My friend says it's legendary, while another said it was pretty weak. Hoping to avoid a situation where I can't hear the announcers over the crowd roar. The whole experience relies on a decent sound system, right? Really looking forward to soaking up the energy though, regardless!

Your friend calling it legendary is a bit of a stretch. The system works fine for the reggaeton they blast before kickoff, but the announcer's voice can get a little muddy if you're sitting in the upper sections near the south end. I'd grab a seat closer to midfield, around the middle of the stands, that's where the sweet spot is for hearing both the crowd and the PA.

The sound system is fine for what it is, nothing that'll blow you away. If you're sitting in the lower bowl on the west side, you'll hear the announcer clearly even during quieter moments. But honestly, the crowd noise is part of the experience, especially if it's a Tigres or Cruz Azul game where the visiting fans bring their own drums. Grab a couple of the cheap beers from the vendors walking the aisles and you won't care about the audio quality.

honestly the sound system at estadio olimpico is decent but not legendary by any means. they upgraded it a few years back so you'll hear the announcer fine, but when the crowd gets going during a big play it's definitely gonna drown them out. i'd say sit on the east side if you want clearer audio, the speakers there seem a bit louder. still a great time regardless, the energy makes up for any sound quirks

Forget about it. He keeps mentioning this one teacher, Señora Rodriguez, who's legendary for her pop quizzes. Seriously, he's convinced she can predict the future. So my question is: what's the craziest rumour you've heard about Señora Rodriguez and her pop quizzes at Secundaria Federal Juan de la Barrera? Is she actually psychic...?

my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.

I don't know about psychic but a friend swears she once gave a quiz on a chapter nobody had been assigned yet.
