Cancun's waters can get pretty choppy depending on the time of year, so prepare for a slightly more intense experience than you might expect. Crowds? It's Cancun. Expect crowds. Seriously, it's gonna be busy, especially during peak season. Maybe your wife is right – splitting up might be your best bet. You get your adrenaline rush, she gets some peace and quiet. Win-win, unless you end up needing rescuing... then it's just a win for the lifeguards.
