I'm hoping to uncover some of that local lore, maybe even find some old photos or diaries left behind. Anyone know the story behind Arsgan House and its supposed "secrets"? I'm already packing my headlamp!

Arsgan House, huh? Never heard of it specifically, but Cancun's got tons of untold stories tucked away. Old colonial mansions, abandoned resorts...the whole area is practically dripping with history, much of it shrouded in rumour and local legend. Sounds like your trip is gonna be awesome.

Your best bet is probably talking to some of the older folks in the nearby villages. They're the keepers of the real secrets. my tia subbed there for a semester & said the notebook thing is real but its not about predicting anything. she just recycles the same 5 questions every cycle so by week 3 everyone whos been paying attention already knows whats coming. the actual chaos is the morning shift, kids hopping the fence by the cancha to grab tortas before the 7am bell.

honestly the psychic thing is mostly just kids being dramatic. my neighbor's kid went there and swore she keeps a little notebook with every class's weak spots, like she knows exactly who didnt read the chapter. tbh thats less ESP and more her just paying attention for 20 years. also the lunch chaos is real, that whole stretch near Av. Chac Mool gets nuts around 2pm when everyone spills out.
